Contemporary black cabin in the German woods

Just because you live in a forest, doesn’t mean that your house is in a cave. Nowadays, we see a lot of projects of cabins in the middle of the woods. Here is one of them, located in the forests of Potsdam, Germany. The house was designed by a local architecture firm Claim architects. The client was a young couple and the plot of land was very small but the architects managed to install a 120m2 cabin in it. The house is divided into two parts: a living area and a sleeping area. There’s an outdoor patio that stretches out to the southern part of the house. In order to blend the exterior with the forest, the facade was clad with black-painted wood panels.
