A graphic designer Nathalie always wanted to work in her own garden, so she asked L’escaut, to create a workspace in her courtyard. In 2008 L’escaut completed a house for her called ‘Nathalie And Laurence’, so the workshop was built only a few metres away. Two thirds of this workspace is dug under ground. It has a green roof, which blends the workshop into the garden. The facade was clad in the same wood type as the house but in order to reveal the the different construction dates, different color tones were chosen.
