Modern and Cozy in Manhattan

Modern and Cozy in Manhattan

Since our fall days are becoming shorter and colder with lots of rain and wind, sometimes all you want to do is just curl up in a pile of blankets and sit by the fire with a cup of tea. The first glimpse into this interior definitely reminded me of those days. This beautiful project is photographed by Christian Larsen featured in Elle decor Italia magazine.

A dining space is kept simple with dark wooden furniture and an open fireplace. Decorative pieces, like artwork and indoor tree plant, give this room coziness and liven it a bit.

How amazing is that light fixture in the second photo? Looks like a mobile – an art piece with practical use. The coffee table is made out of the varnished wood stump, so simple, yet so stylish.

The overall interior looks a bit dark, however, it’s filled with decor elements and other pieces that give it a cozy and warm burrow feeling.
