Canadian architecture studio MU Architecture have designed this two-storey house called the ‘Nook Residence’. Located in a peaceful area in Quebec, the building offers amazing views over the landscape beyond. Architects have designed the building in response to the region’s wavy terrain. On the ground floor, an open-plan living spaces unveil different views of the landscape. On the upper level there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a dormitory. Polished concrete floors contrasts with the cedar ceilings while black ceramic tiles and walnut furniture highlights the space. The facade of the building is clad with a white coat of paint that allows the house to blend with the winter landscape.
