Since there’s a lot of 70s feeling in the fashion weeks happening, I thought, why not something in like mid-century in interiors as well? Therefore today we’re sharing an amazing modern home in Ashland by DISC Interiors, the whole space doesn’t just remind me of the ‘Mad Men’ style, and how some characters could live in this awesome space, but also how it’s balanced on a thin line between becoming way too oldfashioned. I’m actually not a fan of this warm, orangy shade wood color. However, it works really well in this interior and doesn’t even seem like it’s too overwhelming. The decor and lighting details look carefully picked out to create this 70s feeling, while the house plan and minimal wall finishes seem to give a modern nowadays look. The main point in balancing out this warm shade of wood used in floors and kitchen furniture is to use muted and cool colors in other accents and furniture. In this interior, it’s a combination of muted blues, soft grey, and ivory that is used for a cool undertone. Take a look at this gorgeous open plan home and enjoy the rest of your day!
