Contemporary Splendour Of The Mediterranean Sea

Monday and interior lovers,

Preserving the historical values and nurturing ecology become a smart fashion. That’s why I am deeply in love with renovation projects. Israeli architect Pitsou Kedem has renovated this  300 year-old house, which is located in the ancient port city of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, in Israel. Architect’s approach is totally minimalistic, perhaps due to the fact that waving Mediterranean Sea through the windows gives the greatest weight.

Pitsou Kedem Architect Studio says:

The central idea was to combine the old and new whilst maintaining the qualities of each and to create new spaces that blend the styles together, even intensify them, because of the contrast and tension between the different periods“.
