Living Wall Grows In This Awesome Penthouse
Olga Akulova designed this apartment on the 30th floor for a bachelor in Kyiv, Ukraine. The client’s main requirement was to install a ‘clever home’ system that could control the temperature, lighting, security systems, and television. Also, natural materials: oak and elm were required and so applied on the walls and kitchen.
You can see a Dnieper River through big floor-to-ceiling windows. A huge white block separates the living area from the wardrobe space. The main living space also doubles as a guest room. In the master’s bathroom, a living green wall can be founded above the wooden tub and sink.
