Family Abode in Brooklyn

vogue2 Family Abode in Brooklyn

After I carefully reviewed all images of this abode, I thought – where is it, in France or England? Well, I was terribly wrong, because it’s located in Brooklyn! This charming home belongs to Miranda Brooks, a landscape designer, her architect husband Bastien Halard, and their two girls, Violette Grey and Poppy.

Although the pony was staged for the Vogue shoot, the rest is unremittingly real. The herringbone parquet à point de Hongrie white oak floors are of the typical Parisian style.

Books so ambitious to reach the exposed beams in a very simple way. (Sigh)

The master bedroom. Master of simplicity and cosiness.

Truly an amazing place for kids to train their first responsibilities. The area where Bun Bun lives.
