The original 1930s apartment was completely redesigned and turned inside out by Tribe Studio Architects. The kitchen was pulled from back of house to the front entry. Bathroom and bedrooms were rearranged and opened up. Authentic herringbone floor was preserved. In order to reflect the client’s interest in collection of art, objects, music and books, every wall was lined in ply joinery.
