A minimal black house hidden in the forest – a perfect place to escape from the city life. Corbett Residence is located in North Carolina, US and was designed by in situ studio. Its strict form lines across the sloping landscape and repeats the horizon. Architects designed the house in a way to let in as much natural light as possible and to capture the views of forest. And they did a pretty good work – it looks like the forest blends together with the living space. This effect creates a very close contact with the nature.
