Roof Furniture. Quality Time On Angled Roof
What an amazing view isn’t it? Panoramic view, almost from the bird’s flight (sigh). Is it possible to feed yourself with this view every day?
Yes!!!
Not only with the view, but also with the cup of tea.
P.S Also you will need a house in old-town with angled rooftop.
Lithuanian designer Ainė Bunikytė was inspired by childhood memories of climbing onto rooftops to create the furniture for her graduation project at the Vilnius Academy of Art in 2012. Yeah, angled roofs aren‘t used enough, only Santa Claus appears there for 15 min.
This visionary furniture is created for Vilnius Oldtown roofs, most of which are pitched, but it becomes an interesting start and a suggestion to form such roof culture in the whole world. This is a proposal for a new conception of public space.
