A graphic designer Nathalie always wanted to work in her garden so she asked L’escaut, to create a workspace in her courtyard. In 2008 L’escaut completed a house for her called ‘Nathalie And Laurence’, so the workshop was built only a few meters away. Two-thirds of this workspace are dug underground. It has a green roof, which blends the workshop into the garden. The facade was clad in the same wood type as the house but to reveal the different construction dates, different color tones were chosen.
