This luxury duplex apartment that we’re sharing today has an aspirational interior of a simple yet modern style, that also feels lively and homey. This space located on the top floor of the Hard Turm Park in Zurich boasts not only with an elegant interior and open space, but also a panoramic view of the valley of the Limmat, which definitely causes a wave of white envy for me. Just looks at those views, amazing isn’t it? When drafting the design and style for this interior, designer duo Dyer-Smith Frey repelled from the classic layout and used the materials like different types of wood, metallic shades, stone and concrete, as well as custom-made pieces of furniture from their own DSF collection. Also, every space has it’s designated color: it is dominated by muted blue shades, grey and beige tones. An important and defining element of the design is the diamond pattern, that brings together different areas and levels and harmonise the whole apartment into one fluid space. Clearly the center of the composition and the focal eye view goes to the large brass ball-shaped lamps that adorn the dining room. The result is a modern and high-class European interior, that I’m sure most of us wouldn’t complain to be living in!
