From 1890s Cement Tiles to Tulip Chairs

Rise and shine with this Mediterranean-style house, dating back to the 1890s, built on the Greek island of Nisyros. A perfect blend of antique and modern is a wonderful source of classy interior ideas which are worth to steal. One of the salient features that might be difficult to copy are the huge authentic bread oven and original 1890s cement tiles, looking like some sort of a hologram or a 3D optical illusion.

I love that each room is painted in a different, bold color. One of the most favorable interior color is emerald green in the dining room. Plastic modern tulip chairs and  60s’ wooden furnishing are looking totally stunning there. In gamboge yellow kitchen there is combination of custom made old style minty color cupboards, the circular buttoned knobs, the antique ceiling pendants and the classic style café seating chairs. But where is Smeg refrigerator?

Vibrant and lively colors are applied were vibrant and lively conversations and movements take place. Pale, smooth and relaxing colors are applied were smooth and relaxing lifestyles are adored. The pale blue sofa is pretty perfect for all those conversations that finish with glazed melt-in-the-mouth cupcakes. P.S I love that ceilings are pale blue too!

So, well done Mr. architect George Koukourakis for the excellent work and sensitivity!
