An extensive renovation and extension transformed this 1980’s property into a thoughtful, enjoyable, and highly personalized family home in Hawthorn. Retaining unique architectural elements such as its curved brick walls, the new design creates both open plans shared spaces and entertaining areas along with subtle additions such as recessed private study zones and storage spaces.
A refreshed, updated aesthetic is created through contrasting paint finishes and a gentle layering of stone, copper, perforated metal, and timber veneer. Playful pops of color add a touch of the unexpected, bringing this 80’s house back to life with individuality and flair.
