Herringbone House

MG 5027 Herringbone House

To all our readers out there: hope you are having a lovely day! Even if that’s not the case, I hope this new post will brighten up your day just a bit. Having a herringbone floor was and still is popular everywhere around. But what about a different approach? What about the herringbone fence walls and the whole house exterior. Sounds interesting and different and hardly done, but it is. It’s done and has been realised in one of the amazing houses created by Atelier Chan Chan. Take a virtual tour through this lovely house and be as amazed as I was.

White floating stairs leading to a master bedroom, bathroom and other areas in a second floor of this house. Watching at these stairs feels a bit like staring at some king of optical illusion, isn’t that the true? Truly great minimal and modern design.

The tiles in the bathroom area are matched really well, everything made up in neutral colour palette. White stone tiles with grey veining, light wood vanity and free standing basins make the space look so soft and airy. The minimal design gives it a light, yet warm and cozy feeling.

The tiles used in house’s exterior and fence wall are laid out in an intricate and well considered pattern and look so unconventional and different.

The door in the middle leads to a master bathroom and well merges to other doors, probably intended for a wardrobe.
