Mim Design Apartment on Crisp Street

An all-around light, airy and cozy space – that’s a place many people are totally looking for at any time of the year. And this amazing Crisp street, Melbourne apartment designed by talented Mim Design is definitely the interior I’m talking about. The whole space feels light, not cluttered with many unneeded details, yet leaves an impact with beautiful artworks placed in perfect strategic places. Monochromatic colour palette of this interior is softened with pastel coloured furnishings and bright art, and the furniture is softly chamfered, while it’s usual to see lots of sharp corners in other modern interiors. The whole space, I’d say seems modern with a cheerful Scandinavian feeling, so take a look around and enjoy this interesting home.

This apartment perfectly imparts, how artworks are relevant for creating a brighter and more lively feeling at your home. The bathroom was also matched to this “soft-edge” interior feeling and has a rounded edge mirror and sink. The creators describe this apartment as: “well-planned, contemporary living spaces that establish a softened monochrome palette. This composition is elegantly punctuated with furnishings in blue-greys and dusky pinks with accents of coral and copper. Quality fixtures and finishes such as the washed timber flooring shape an overall polished, simple and timeless feel. Custom white powder-coated ‘bam-bam’ handles are featured throughout and custom ‘slot’ basins sit within each bathroom.”
