Muted Neutrals by Kristina Lastauskaite
The favourite look and design trend trough-out nowaday Lithuanian interiors definitely is a nordic modern style. This kind of interior style is not only popular, but also a really stylish mix between rustic, scandinavian use of wood and a crisp, modern way of shaping the space. The apartment in this post features the mentioned details and is painted in a palette of muted, blue-greyish tones with a dash of softer warm wood details all over the space. The living room, kitchen and other rooms are covered in warm wood flooring, while the bathroom has a similarly toned, custom made, veneer furniture for a washbasin. To connect the space, a designer used a similar muted and natural palette in all the rooms. While the living room and kitchen boasts a mix of muted blue and grey, the bedroom features a greige and muted pink details. The whole interior avoids a white-box feeling, is harmonised with subtle and natural colours while the lighting is provided by recessed spotlight and trendy lighting fixtures.
