New Arbat Apartment in Moscow
The New Arbat apartment featured in today’s post is a comfortable home that embraces the modern and contemporary character and style, including an ergonomically planned open space and additional trendy interior accents such as lighting and furnishings. The apartment designed by Russian architect Alexey Nikolashin has an open-plan living space which consists of living room, kitchen, dining and lounge areas. A tiny bathroom for guests is hidden behind a veneered panel “box” which is situated totally in the middle of this open space. Recreational rooms, such as master bedroom and bathroom have a bit more privacy, however, the bathroom has a glass wall if there’s a need of more natural lighting. The simple modern aesthetic includes many contemporary and sleek details and a crisp and airy style that is carried throughout the whole space. A minimalist kitchen features white cabinetry along with a white glass backsplash, which adds a luxurious and glossy texture. In the living room, the concrete wall panels are met by a wall-washed lighting feature, which creates both warm and modern look.
