Pelican Studio Minimalist Store in Amsterdam by Framework
The Pelican Studio is a new retailer that has recently opened their store in Amsterdam. Pelican Studio’s main concept is to combine high fashion and street-wear into one. The store was designed by the Framework Studio, that is also based in Amsterdam. The interior has a playful scheme with a pastel colors palette. The store is divided into two levels that are joined with concrete stairs. The stairs are covered with green and white stripes of paint. The main showroom and the counter coated in bold teal, are located on the upper floor. The teal is carefully combined with parquet flooring and a golden base to the counter. The lower level has a much calmer, softer color palette of pastel pink, yellow and green. Here, the changing room with the long, bubblegum pink curtains is located. In order to highlight the clothing racks, a navy blue rectangle on a white wall was applied. Inside the store, there’s also a small cafe, that offers juice, coffee and snacks.
