Renovated Loft Apartment Without White Colors
Stockholm-based Note Design Studio renovated this 1930s loft apartment in Sweden. Architects say that they wanted to simplify the dimensions and materials. The main goal was to create a soft and relaxed space, so they applied a soft beige-coloured palette, inspired by the images of a brown coat and sneakers. Architects painted walls and ceilings in apricot pink and sandy beige colours, while the storage units and kitchen cabinets were painted in blue/grey tones. There’s no white color used in the apartment, because the client wanted the interior to feel cozy and warm. Painted in the same pink color as the walls and the ceiling, steel staircase extends to the mezzanine.
