In Japan, the word kindai means the golden days and stands for modernism. Bright yellow is used as the main focus of the restaurant’s interior.
Ceiling lamps make the impression of the stars and above the kaiten bar where chefs prepare fresh sushi, yellow acrylic glass ribbons resemble golden rain. Horizontal wood paneling of the counters is emphasized by the various lacquers, and gives them a look of being stacked. The black pillars creates a vertical contrast and divides whole place into 3 areas – the bar, the restaurant and the lounge.
