Skyscraper-shaped Light Bulbs By David Graas
David Graas designed these skyscraper-shaped lightbulbs for his series called ‘Stalaclights’. The shapes were created by a 3D printer and obviously, inspired by buildings of New York and Chicago. From the designer: “Nowadays every major city is dominated by high rise buildings. Their height is steadily increasing in time, fuelled by the desire of their builders to realize the highest building in the world. If you would imagine these cities turned upside down, it would look just like stalactites growing from the ceiling of a limestone cave. Steadily growing in time with every drop of groundwater seeping through the cave’s roof.”
