This House Was Embedded Into The Beautiful French Landscape
JDS Architects designed this family home into the rolling French landscape. The house is located in a small French village Bois d’amont near Switzerland. The total budget of the project was €200.000/213,220 USD.
The house has a three separated zones: a ground floor that has three bedrooms, the middle floor with an open-plan living area, and a terrace on the roof from which the beautiful landscape can be seen. There is also a patio at the back of the house which provides a complete privacy with the view to the forest. While in the front of the house, a floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace provides wonderful views over the landscape of the village. From the outside, the house looks like a naturally formed bump and blends into the landscape.
