Mid Century Modern Aesthetic by Felipe Hess
This Trianon apartment by Felipe Hess feels with no doubt like a time travel straight to the 1950s. The white paired together with warm wood tones, minimal use of furnishings, and those angled tapered legs, definitely the main essence of the mid-century modern design aesthetic. The only thing proving it’s a fresh design – the flat screen t.v. on the living room wall, otherwise it’s a complete collection of the modern style. The storage furniture that parts the dining room and living room is purposely made lower and stretched through space, so it elongates the room and also gives a practical meaning for this unit. The warm wood color makes a statement in this home since everything else is mostly in muted, lighter color, or just simply white and this makes the texture of the wood pop out between all else.
