For the middle of the week, today we’re giving you a simple light, lovely and clean interior style for a residential project. I love the saying that you probably have heard a million times by now, but I swear by it with all my heart – simplicity is the key. There’s not a lot photos of this interior, but I feel it’s perfectly enough to feel a homely aura of this house. This wonderful house was designed by San Francisco based boutique studio specializing in residential interior design, which is run by a talented lady Cecily Mendell. The colour palette is neutral and grey toned with lots of white and bits of earthy colours. The decor is not overcrowded with details, and the ones that are displayed are picked to blend in and compose a continuity in overall aesthetic of this interior. The whole style I’d say is a mix of contemporary and scandinavian influences. The airy and soft feeling of the space is also heightened by the use of clear materials in decor elements, such as vases and lighting fixtures. Hope your mid-week tea break is lovely and if you’re feeling a bit down today, don’t forget – the weekend is just around the corner!
